Hi, Valentine’s Day is over however with A Crafters Heart stamp by Trinity Stamps you can send handmade cards to your crafty friends all year round.

I mix the sentiment from the same Trinity Stamps stamp set and a Catherine Pooler Hello Amazing stamp and die.  Watch the video tutorial below and read on for the written tutorial.  The products I use are linked in the written instructions, and under the Supplies at the bottom of this post.

Written Instructions

I work on a 4.25 x 5.5” card panel of Lunch bag kraft card.  As the stamping and colouring will not bleed through the card, you can work directly onto a kraft card base.

Stamp the crafty heart stamp with Icing On The Cake ink. I prefer to use brown ink when working on kraft card.

Colour all the images (apart from the hearts) with a white Polychromos pencil. I add more pressure to have darker areas. And less pressure to have lighter areas for variations in the colouring.  The hearts are all coloured with Pale Geranium red.

Stamp onto kraft card the “for my” and “crafty friend” from A Crafters Heart stamp set, then trim into banners.  (I forgot that I had used Icing On The Cake for the crafty heart and automatically reached for the Midnight ink).

First, I die cut the Hello Amazing word die then stamp the outline “amazing” stamp from Hello Amazing stamp set with black ink.

Colour inside the lines with the white pencil.  Glue onto another kraft word die-cut and foam mount over the heart.

Foam mount the rest of the sentiment around the “amazing”. Place the “crafty friend” so the bottom of the “g” in amazing is above the “ra” in “crafty”

In addition to all the word stamps in the Hello Amazing stamp set, there are solid and outline hearts.  There are also coordinating heart dies in the Hello Amazing die set.

Stamp and die cut a bunch of the hearts in both sizes with Midnight ink, then colour with the same red pencil.  After adhering the hearts to the card panel, I adhere to a card base made from the same Lunch bag kraft card.
