Do you love critters? Trinity Stamps have the cutest critter stamps for fun and cheerful Christmas cards. For this post I’m counting gnomes as critters too. I hope you are inspired by these cards and will tag us on Instagram (#thelittlepapertree) as we love seeing your paper craft projects.
Find the products used for these cards in the shop, along with alternate stamp set suggestions. The tutorials to recreate the cards are also below. Now, onto the Critter Christmas card inspiration.
Gnome One Layer Card
Use masking for quick (easy to post) one layer cards. Take out the masking step by using the coordinating die, therefore speeding up your card making. Find the video tutorial for the one layer card here, and the card using the coordinating die here. The Holiday Tweets stamp and Comfort and Joy stamp set are both gnome stamp sets that are perfect for this card idea.

Masked One layer Card
Make a fun winter scene with the cute critters in Bunny Burrows stamp and Winter Burrows add on stamp. This card is a one layer card but make this card even quicker with the coordinating dies. Find the tutorial here.
No Colouring Card
Love slimline cards? Stamp your critters in fun bright colours but don’t colour them – therefore saving time. The ink smooshed background and heat embossed stamped image add all the bright colour this Christmas card needs. Make this card quicker by using festive patterned paper such as Winter Hues paper pad and Holiday Patterns paper pad. Find the video tutorial here.
Interactive Cards
If you have more a bit more time or need a special card for a special person then interactive cards are always fun to make. (I sent this card to my nephew). Find the video tutorial here.
- Slimline Surprises die
- Holiday Patterns slimline patterned paper pad
- Any of the gnome stamps (or the Tree-mendous stamp set) by Trinity Stamps will look great on this interactive pull up slider card design. Want to recreate this idea with a festive car? Check out the Wrapped and Ready stamp set by Catherine Pooler.
Has the design team inspired you to use critters on your next card? Don’t forget you can always search for Christmas Cards on the Tutorial blog to find inspiration. There are also card ideas on the product pages. Share your card making with us at the Paper Tree Tribe.
