Clean, Simple & Quick | Christmas Card Making | Jeni

Hi, can you believe it’s already November? I still need to make a few more Christmas cards (quite a few actually) and I’m speeding up the process as much as possible.  This quick clean and simple card uses Martini, Uptown and Dress Blues from the Luxe collection, and the cute twig tree from Wrapped and Ready stamp set.

There is a quick Reel on Instagram for this card, and a written tutorial below. Head to the shop for these products (and don’t forget about our Catherine Pooler Inkaversary raffle)!

Clean & Simple Christmas Card

My card is Bristol Vellum and trimmed to 3.25×4.5″. I first swinked with Martini ink pad, as this is the lightest colours (to avoid any ink transfer from the darker ink pads).  Then Uptown ink pad, overlapping the edge of Martini ink.  Finally, swinking with Dress Blues ink pad.

I stamp and diecut the twig tree, and do basic colouring with Catherine Pooler dye inks and a blender penFoam mount the tree to the background, then to an A2 card base.  To add the festive sparkle to this card, I add some Crater Lake sequins.

The sentiment was already heat embossed on this card panel from a previous craft day.  How are you getting along with your Christmas card making?  Do you still have a few to make? Have you started/finished yet?
