Hi, Janet here with a clean and simple card that has a lot of texture. I love all the Beautiful Girls stamps by Picket Fence Studios but I didn’t feel like colouring skin, so I only coloured the flowers in her hair, and added some die-cuts by Catherine Pooler Designs.
PROCESS
- Diecut the Wall Flowers cover plate die from Bristol Smooth card
- Adhere with liquid glue to an A2 card base made from the same card
- Stamp Beautiful Girl Sydney onto a rectangle of Bristol Smooth card with Midnight ink
- Colour the flowers in hair with Orange Clean Color marker and adhere to card base
- Die-cut Happy Birthday Stacked Word from Bristol Smooth card and black card
- Adhere together with liquid glue – offset to give black shadow
- Adhere onto card base
I tend to use either Neenah 110lb card or Catherine’s premium white pre-scored card for my card base. But when you place Bristol card over either of these cards, the Bristol looks cream as both the Neenah and Catherine Pooler card are bright white.
