Squeeze The Day CP watercolored card w/video

Hi, I have another quick card and video tutorial to share using the Zest Bouquet stamp set. I am trying to share more videos and blogs during this time. If you are self isolating then I want to provide some more inspiration for you. I used all Catherine Pooler Designs products for this card. I am so happy that Catherine came out with these inks. They really are my favourites!

Stamping

I stamped the main image, sentiment and the extra flowers and leaves onto the smooth side of a piece of Canson XL Watercolour card with Midnight ink, so they flow from the top left to the bottom right of the card.

I used almost the same colours as on this card. You can watch the colouring for this Squeeze the Day card in the video tutorial HERE.

Colouring

The colours I used are Lime Rickey, Grass Skirt, Tiki Torch, Limoncello, Coral Cabana, Samba and Suede Shoes. I took the colour from the lid of the ink pad by closing the ink pad and lightly pushing on the lid to transfer the ink to the lid. I love doing it like this so I don’t waste any ink by smooshing the ink onto a craft mat.

Suede Shoes is a brighter less saturated shade than the Something Borrowed. I think I prefer Suede Shoes for a sky colour. I hope you found this blog and video tutorial inspiring, and look forward to more blog posts and more videos. Please join our Facebook Tribe group to share your cards with us.
