Hi crafty people, my name is Jenny (AKA Ginger Ninja crafts!) and I’m delighted to be a guest contributor to the blog today. I’m here to share a project I made using the beautiful “Stand Tall” stamp set from Catherine Pooler.
STAMPING & COLOURING
I stamped one of the flamingos in black ink before colouring with alcohol markers and fussy cutting it out.
ZIG ZAG BACKGROUND
Using the zig-zag border I stamped background panels by repeatedly stamping it with black ink and with picked raspberry distress oxide ink. I cut the black and white panel into a rectangle (6 x 13 cm) and then using a small hole punch to cut a circle of each.
SENTIMENT & FINISHING THE CARD
I stamped the sentiment onto some white cardstock which had some picked raspberry smooshed on it and cut it out before layering it onto a larger circle of black card stock.
Added a panel (6.5 x 13.5 cm) of fuschia pearl card and arranged the zig-zag panel, and the small zig-zag circles on the card front. The sentiment is raised up with 3D pads and the flamingo is glued in place before finishing off the card with some Nuvo glitter drops in enchanting pink.
I really enjoyed playing with these fun stamps, they are so perfect for the summer. If you liked this card I’m sharing some different projects using this stamp set on my Instagram and blog today.
Thank you so much for spending some time with me today, I will be back in a couple of weeks with another project.
