Hello, It’s time for my second guest designer project for The Little Paper Tree. This time I have made an autumnal picture using my favourite stamp set from Sunshine and Bee Designs, Woodland Fox.
The Background
I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock the same size as the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Frame Panel and created a background with Tim Holtz Distress Crayons in autumnal colours and a wide flat paintbrush. To add a little more detail to the background I used Sepia Archival Ink and the leaf stamps to give the impression of leaves falling and piling up.
Stamping and Colouring
The images are stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink and heated embossed with clear embossing powder. I fussy cut the foxes and some of the leaves and coloured them using Kuretake Zig Clean Colour Real Brush pens. (Specific colours are listed below in the supply list)
Creating the 3D effect
The foxes, toadstools and leaves are adhered to the background with glue gel to lift them from the background. To create the trees, I have used the largest leaf stamp from the set and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Pen Nibs painted with Bronze Metallic Posca. The texture of the frame is coated with the same pen. To finish I have used a Tim Holtz chipboard quote.
I hope you like my autumn fox wood.
Creative Blessings, Tracy
