Hi, I have one more card using the new Winter Poinsettia stamp by Sunshine and Bee Designs.
Heat Emboss & Colouring
The Winter Poinsettia stamp is easy to colour and cut out. I heat embossed the poinsettia with white embossing and used some Distress Inks to watercolour. Then used Aged Mahogany for all the leaves/petals and Wild Honey for the centres.
Background
The background is Iced Spruce Distress Ink and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. I inked up different areas of the Love Notes background stamp with these inks and spritzed the stamp with water. Then took my piece of Bristol smooth card and lightly pressed this on the inked stamp. I’m not going for a perfectly stamped image, next I trimmed this to a wide strip.
Sentiment
Cutting the poinsettia right up to the embossed line I placed this on my stamped background. I stamped the sentiment “Thank you for all you do” from the Winter Poinsettia stamp set with Spruce ink. The poinsettia’s are adhered with foam tape, and I also added the stamped background with foam tape onto a card base. I finished with three sequins from Green Mountains.
I hope you love these stamp designs as much as we do.
