The sleepy foxes in the Woodland Fox stamp set by Sunshine and Bee Designs will put a smile on anyones face, especially if you are not feeling very well and makes a great Get Well Soon card.
Making The Background
This sleepy foxes card was made using a watercolour card panel measuring 11 x 14cm. This background is from my “box of backgrounds” I used water based inks to blend all over this panel, (an orange at the top half of the card and red on the rest of the card).
Whilst the card was drying, I stamped two sleepy foxes with Over Coffee on Neenah 80 lb card, one below the other. I have a corresponding video tutorial for this card over on YouTube. You can watch it HERE.
Colouring The Foxes
Because I used Over Coffee ink to stamp with I carefully coloured the foxes as to not smudge any of the stamped lines. E13 for the bodies and E35 for the face and inside the ears.To ground the foxes I coloured a little light grey underneath both of them, and then trimmed this panel to 7.5cm square.
Sentiment
“Get Well Soon” was the sentiment I chose and stamped this onto a 6.5 x 2cm piece of card. I adhered both to my background panel, then adhered to a card base the same size.
