Hello. Today I am sharing a shaker card.
Colouring
I started the card by stamping the images from the stamp sets out on Bristol cardstock and coloured them using my Zig clean colour real brush markers. I only used three colours and blended them with water using a small paint brush to create shading and lighter areas of colour.
Background
I took a 6 x 6 piece of white cardstock and die cut a heart. Then stamped the sentiments on the front and attached a piece of acetate inside the panel using liquid glue and set this aside to dry. I attached the stamped images to the front.
Finishing The Card
I made a card base to measure 6 x 6 and blended some Distress Oxide ink on the front where the heart window would sit.
I took the front panel and turned it upside down and attached foam tape around the heart shape, making sure there were no gaps. I then attached pieces of foam tape on the rest of the panel ready to adhere it to the base. Filling the heart window area with sequins, then attaching the card base to the front panel to complete the card.
This was such a fun card to make.
Katrina.
